Mirella Mirankó graduated from the University of Pannonia in 2018 as a chemical engineer. Her thesis was entitled "Developing Nanostructured Composite Drug Forms for Increasing Therapeutic Effectiveness of Pharmaceutical Substances". Since February 2017, she has been a member of the University of Pannonia, Research Institute of Biomolecular and Chemical Engineering. By the autumn of 2018, she became a student of the Ph.D. School of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science of University of Pannonia. She prepares her thesis under the title "Microencapsulation of Pharmaceutical Substances", and examines the physical and chemical properties of drug-polymer composite particles prepared by nano and conventional spray drying, nanoprecipitation and emulsion techniques. She also manufactures solid lipid nanoparticle drug delivery systems.
